Good morning class. I know its been a LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG time since ive posted. I've been busy with finals and other school related stuff.
Other than that today's post is very special. This is an update on PARROT's case and I am so happy to hear the news. I receive an email from lucky dog animal rescue and this is the email they sent me:
"We have just heard from the DC office of police complaints and they have concluded their investigation. They have determined that Officer Fike was NOT justified in shooting Parrot, and have referred the case to the US Attorney's office. We are very encouraged that the wheels of justice are slowly churning in the right direction.
Please stay tuned as we await a decision by the US Attorney."
Not only am I hoping for this person to lose his badge but I am also hoping that this will bring change to the laws of pit bull bans and restrictions everywhere. Yeah its a small step but I hope this will make some positive changes and someday change the reputation of pit bulls.
Thank you guys for emailing me!!!
We Love YOU Parrot!

The Truth about Pit Bulls
Good morning everyone,
The last two days has compelled me to ONCE AGAIN give a crash course on pit bulls.
Here are some links that I believe have extremely accurate statistics.
If I have to do this again, I'm going to punch someone in the face. You wanna pin aggression issues and suddenly snapping? Pin it on me because I'm gonna snap if this ignorance on the breed continues.

What I did over the weekend
Hello everyone! I would like to apologize to the both of you reading this for not updating my blog daily.
Well Anyway. I just wanted to share that on Saturday I went to the Pit Bull Awareness event that was held in Alexandria. I had a blast. I got to play with ALL SORTS of doggies, not just pits! I did take pictures, however the dogs were so overwhelmed with each others smells they wouldn't sit still. My pictures came out blurry so i'm going to share a link of an article written about the event Right Here .
There were dogs for adoption and yes, i did fall in love.... AGAIN... her name is Sasha and she is so sweet and cuddlely. I wanted to take her home instantly. I later found out that she wasn't a Lucky Dog-Dog but she belongs to Bully Paws. I still want to know more about her. There is a picture of her taking a break in her crate at the event. She looks SO CUTE! But mind you, about a second after the picture was taken, she took a huge dump in there. It was the funniest thing in the world. I ended up having to watch her for a few moments while a volunteer cleaned it up.
In other news my new friend Dana received a partnership with Youtube, so now he's gonna be even MORE famous! So Congrats my NINJA!
Well, I hope you enjoy! :O)

Justin Bieber gets in trouble at a British Columbian Chuck e Cheese-like Place
Good evening everyone. I was listening to the radio earlier today and they announced that Baby Angel Justin Bieber was at a Lazer-Tag place in British Columbia where he got into an altercation with a 12 year old boy ending with the boy being punched in the face.
I cannot begin to tell you how hard I laughed when hearing the incident. Justin Bieber, Punching a 12 year old, at a Chuck E Cheese-esque Arcade. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so juvenile and silly!
Later reports continued with updates about the investigation and now according to blogger Zach Taylor, thats not what happened. Here is the AOL article including a video about the investigation.
I personally think this is the cutest thing in the world. This reminds me of the time when my little cousins came to visit one summer and two of them (both 10 and 12 at the time) got into a fist fight at the bowl american near my house. ahh so adorable.

I got an Honorable mention today... YAYE!!! DANA ROCKS!
Hi, I got an honorable mention today on the internet! YAYE!
Help a brotha out!
Im so nervous and balloon boy Anniversary brings up other Hoax News
Im so nervous, I have a mid-term today and I've been studying all week and yet I still have work to be done. Last night my anxiety went on an all time high cause of everything I have to get done along with some personal issues as well. Im like WHHHHHAAAAAAA!
Well this morning I was reading aol.com aka the celebrity obituaries, and apparently tomorrow is the anniversary of the Balloon Boy fiasco. Here is the link. Apparently, not only were we duped by the Heene family, but other people have done the same thing to us in the news. Do any of you remember the poor lady who had acid splashed on his face in a parking lot? yeah. FAKE! I felt so bad for her when it happened. She was beautiful before the burns. Turns out she put some cleaning agent on her face as a failed suicide attempt.
Well I feel like a prize horses ass right now... anyway. I have to go back to work, enjoy this video of a cute dog whistling

Restore Sanity or Keep Fear Alive?
Good Morning everyone. I just drinking my coffee, and eating my raspberries and then it hit me: I was invited to both John Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity and Stephen Colbert's March to Keep Fear Alive. I was invited to both at the same exact time, in the same exact place, Facebook. I don't know what to do, I don't know which one to go to. I also love them both equally, they're like Sons, I cant choose a favorite, however John Stewart is a Pit bull activist and has pit bulls of his own, so that should make an impact on my decision, however Stephen Colbert needs all the support we can get cause no one has really endorsed his rally the same way Oprah and President Obama endorsed John Stewart's rally. I'm so confused, they're both happening on the same day, and I'm lost. Someone help my ass make a decision!
HELP ME!???!!!!

They are growing on me
Hi everybody. Im feeling like a prize horses ass right about now.
I wish I could take certain feelings I had and say fuck it, its done AND DONE.
I found this cute video of a French Bulldog, I never considered tis breed as a personal favorite before but of course when ever I see someone walking by with one, I have to stop them and play with it. Last week while at a coffee shop in Arlington, this nice lady had her Frenchie and it was still a puppy, and when I played with it, I started to really like this breed. I think I might get one of these if I cant get a pit bull. Now Again I love all dogs, but some breeds (like pit bulls) I am more fond of than others (Fru Fru dogs).
But I still love them anyway, just wont spend money on em.
Well Enjoy this video, im going to reevaluate my actions and then wake up tomorrow and do more studying like a nerd.
In other news, I'm officially in a bad mood. I don't like feeling rejected by the same person twice.

Good Evening everyone. I haven't posted in a while. I've been preoccupied with school and stuff. Nothing exciting has been happening but I have been keeping busy (on youtube) nonetheless.
Here are some videos I have been looking at during the week. yes I know the first three are really old, but I wanted to share them cause they're funny. They came out during the Cris Angel/David Blaine magic insanity that was going on around 3 years ago.
The fourth video is a mad glass blowing because I LOVE the way it looks and have been considering taking classes on the stuff.
The Fifth video is of an adorable american bulldog being ADORABLE! and the Last one is my favorite and if you dont know why you are stupid.
Love you all, see ya tomorrow.

The Quick update
Good evening everyone. I am extremely tired and will be going to bed very shortly. I just wanted to give an update for the sake of giving an update.
I have not heard any new news about the Adams Morgan Day shooting, but I am always thinking about Parrot and Aaron.
If anyone knows anything I don't, I would really appreciate any info you can give. I personally am back on the market for a Pit. I love them to death, they are cuddly and loyal and they have the prettiest faces EVER! Im always looking on rescue sites and that is my ONLY venue I choose for having a doggie. I dont believe in breeders. I think breeders are the reason why animal shelters are flooded with dogs that end up in euthanasia. Anyway, If there is any new updates on what will happened to the "cop" or what is going on in and around DC about Parrots death, please send it my way.
Love you all,
Good night.
BABY ANGEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a strange dream last night
Good Morning,
I had a very strange dream last night. In the dream I was surfing and when I would get under the water I would surf/swim under Whales and Dolphins. The strange part was, once I swam under them I felt the water was pulling me down and there was this slim that would come from the dolphins and whales that would feel so gross and just pulled me down further. After this happened to me enough times I wanted out of the water, however there was a surfing competition and this man who held it needed one more surfer. When I tried to get myself out of it, he pinned me down and said "You're gonna do it!" and i felt stuck but even then I looked for ways out. I ended up waking up before the competition began.
It was such a weird dream. Now im watching a surfing documentary called "Into the liquid." It just happened to be on tv.

Lets Remember Parrot
I just emailed the guys at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and with their permission and their help, I changed my blog background to pictures of Parrot. As a dog lover, I always make it a point to stop every dog walker and ask to play with their dog and I wish I had the opportunity to meet Parrot.
I also have some more pictures that LDAR sent me.
Lets remember Parrot and remind ourselves that Pit Bulls are like ANY OTHER dog. Lets also fight to see that the police officer who killed him will hopefully lose his badge.

I am Disgustingly, Stupidly, Infuriated at the DC police for their animal cruelty they displayed on Adams Morgan day!
Hello, its been a difficult few days for me and it just got worse. On Sunday Sept 12, In Adams Morgan DC, during the Adams Morgan Day festival, two dogs got into a scuffle in which the owners of each dog struggled but successfully gained control of their pets. One dog was a Pit bull and the other was a Poodle. As the owner of the Pit bull gained control of his dog, a police officer arrived on the scene and knocked over the pit bull owner and proceeded to handle the pit bull in an aggressive manner. He pinned the Pit bull on the floor and placed his knee on the dogs back, as an officer would do with a criminal. He then took the Pit bull and threw it down a flight of stairs that lead to the basement of The Brass Doorknob and then shot the Pit bull, In broad day light. in front of thousands of people, some of whom were children that had happened to have been playing with the dog earlier that day.
The police officer did NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to shoot the dog nor did he have the right to intervene in the dog owners successful handling. The Poodle did not suffer any injury and only one person received an abrasion on the arm.
A lot of articles have been giving out mixed and false information regarding the situation, stating that the dog had attacked people. That was not true. A lot of the false information seemed to have been given by other DC police officers. This article here seems to clear the air on whats been falsely reported.
What had happened between the two dogs had nothing to do with breed specification. From the information I have gathered about dogs, I know that when dogs fight, it is for dominance. Dog fights happen all the time at parks and other places that have millions of dogs around each other. This had nothing to do with a Pit bulls temperament. Sometimes two dogs just don't get along. In fact by the nature of the situation, if the Pit bull did "attack" the poodle first, it is probably because the Poodle was being an instigator. Ive watched enough "Dog Whisperer" to know that dogs instigate fights by staring of there is enough physical distance between them. In fact I guarantee that this Poodle has had scuffles with other dogs in the past, but I am not going to focus my energy on which dog is innocent and which isn't, in the end they are DOGS and they are both innocent. This is how DOGS operate, they are pack oriented animals and have to establish their ranks among other dogs.
This practice is included in EVERY single breed and does not exclude Chihuahua's, Bijou's, Poodles, Labs (I have encountered aggressive labs) and every single other dog that exist on this earth.
I am deeply hurt by what this asshole did to Parrot (the Pit bulls name). I truly believe that this was an act of breed discrimination. Had this been a fight between a Poodle and another breed, this would not have happened. I am so angry that this happened. I cannot even think clearly when talking about this. Pit bulls are NOT BAD DOGS! They are EXACTLY like every other dog! They do NOT turn on their owners, they DO NOT lock their jaws, they DO NOT feed on the smell of blood, and they ARE NOT AGGRESSIVE by nature.
I have been siding with pit bulls for years now and have been education myself on Pit bulls for moments where those who are ignorant about the breed need a little education. This website here has helped me gain some of my knowledge on Pits and I think its time for all of you who don't already know, to start doing your homework as well. Here is the link. http://www.realpitbull.com/myths.html
To go back to what had happened on Sunday, It was a traumatizing event for everyone, but no one was as traumatized as much as Parrots owner. Aaron Block was fostering Parrot until the dog had been adopted to a forever home. . So not only did an innocent young man, who knew how to handle dogs a shit ton better than a "trained" police officer, lose a dog he had been caring for and growing an emotional bond to, but an innocent dog lost his chance at being in a forever home. Imagine, if this dog had an adoptive family, what would the parents say to their children? "Sorry kids, Parrot is not gonna come and live with us, he's dead." Explain that to me?
I have so many issues with what happened. I can go on for ever and ever but I will have to end this here.
My heart goes out to Aaron Block, the adoptive family, the children who witnessed this horrific event, Lucky Dog rescue and last but definitely not least, to all the Pit bulls out there who are continuing to be discriminated against, abused, neglected and euthanised because of a false reputation.
Here, again, is the link to Lucky Dog Rescue's update on the situation. I am also putting the link on the myths and facts of Pit Bulls as well as a link that shares the history of the Pit Bull:

And Now For Something Completely Different...
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to say that I am giving my condolences to those who lost family members during the sept. 11th attacks on the world trade center and pentagon building.
I wanted to share a memory that I had about that very day:
I was a senior in High School.
He called me out of school and I got into my little P.O.S. (figure that out for yourself). When I got out of campus and on the main road, what would have been a 10 to 15 minute drive home turned into a 2 hour traffic jam. Everyone in the entire county was on the road going home, scared, worried, and confused.
I get home and my mom is worried, my older sister and brother came home and we all watch the news. MY younger sister was around 4 at the time and I wanted to protect her from seeing these images. Also, being a teenager I could only deal the images for short periods of time. When I was ready to make my momentary escape, I changed the channel to MTV. When I did, I saw the same footage I was just watching on the news, and thats when I realized this was something I could not avoid. What hit me harder that day was looking back on what that annoying kid said to me in the hall. I realized it was time to educate the people around me about who I am, where I came from and what my religion and culture truly represent, and that sure as hell WASN'T terrorism or violence.
Thats my memory.
Lets pray for those who have lost loved ones today,
Allah Yar hum hoom. (meaning: May God rest their souls.)

I wanted to share a memory that I had about that very day:
I was a senior in High School.
I was walking out of class to lunch. On my way, this obnoxious kid came up to me and said "Hey! Your Palestinian cousins are destroying our country!" I had no clue what the hell he was talking about and
I was too sleepy to punch him in the face (It was the second week of classes and after three months of falling asleep at dawn, we now had to be in class at dawn) ... Then I walked into the cafeteria and saw the TV screens on and couldnt believe what I saw. I saw a plane fly into one of the Trade Center Towers. I was so distraught, I walked out and I saw this girl outside of the auditorium crying. I went to the library to get away from the emotions around me (I know its selfish but thats how I dealt with things) I then saw footage on the library Tvs of the Pentagon having been destroyed. After that I realized why that girl was crying, her dad worked at the Pentagon. I Freaked out, my dads job requires him to work with reporters from time to time so I thought "what if he was taking reporters to the Pentagon today?!?!?" I called him, scared as hell. Thank God he was in his office and he said he was on his way out go home and that I should leave too. He called me out of school and I got into my little P.O.S. (figure that out for yourself). When I got out of campus and on the main road, what would have been a 10 to 15 minute drive home turned into a 2 hour traffic jam.

Megan Fox is a crazy bitch that everyone wants to fuck!
Ok so Megan Fox is beautiful. She is amazing looking and I wish I looked like her. However she has some flaws, big personality flaws (along with Mental Disorders). Check out this link on the top ten reasons you wouldnt want to date Megan Fox
The surprising thing is not the article but the comments afterwards. PEOPLE STILL WOULD DO HER ANYWAY! It really makes me wonder if its true that looks alone can get you by...

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!
Hi Everyone. I am currently starting my second year as a Grad Student. I must confess, as old as I am I still feel like this every semester:
Pit-bull Saves Two Lives
For all the new readers out there who don't know me personally, I am a huge advocate for Pit-bulls. I love ALOT ALOT ALOT! They are my favorite breed of dog because they are so loyal, so cute, friendly, energetic and yet so cuddly at the same time.
The problem with pit-bulls is that mainstream media has been giving them a bad reputation for years. Because there have been a number of pit-bull attacks on people as well as their being used for dog fighting, the media has put the two together and decided that these dogs are born with the intention to kill people and fight.
This breed of dog is like any other dog. You can either teach it to be nice or you can teach it to be aggressive.
With these attacks that have been happening in the past, the commonality with all of them is that they had bad owners. Some of them were neglected by their owners by being chained up outside, poorly fed, or trained to fight other dogs out of their will.
Unfortunately because of this, most apartment complexes in my area and im sure many others around the country will not allow tenants to own pit-bulls in their building. To make matters worse certain home insurance companies will drop you or if they feel like being nice, will raise your home insurance significantly for owning one.
Back to media involvement: Anytime there is a dog attack the dogs breed is only mentioned once. For example, the first person to ever have a partial face transplant did so because she was mauled by her Lab. Unless you Wikipedia her name "Isabelle Dinoire" Most articles will not mention her dogs breed.
However if look up articles about pit-bull attacks, you will find that the titles of each article look like this "Pit-bull attacks child" "Baltimore woman Mauled by Pit-bull" "Dog dies from pit-bull attack."
Isabelle Dinoire's story was about having a face transplant because she happened to be attacked by a dog, in which most titles will say "first woman to have partial face transplant."
All the other articles containing pit-bull attacks sometimes don't contain the names of the victims and when they do, they are mentioned once in the beginning of the article where it can be easily forgotten over words like mauled, vicious, dangerous, aggressive, or killer.
It seems like the media decides whats considered dangerous and whats not.
I could go on and on forever and if you would like me to, I will. However, the main point im trying to make is that im going to change the mold for a second hear and share a story about a pit-bull who saved two lives. The link will be at the bottom, tell me what you think.

Antoine Dodson, 14:59 and counting
A few months ago a news report about an intruder entering his apartment and assaulting his sister.
The news report went viral. Why? Well you take a look to refresh your memory:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZKXAFqdlC4&feature=related
teeheeheeheehee so funny... Anyway not too long after the video got around, this happened:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMtZfW2z9dw
...Now I cant get this shit out of my HEAD!
As I watched this video, 15 times a day, it hit me one day I thought "I wonder what Antoine Dodson is getting about this? He must think he is the shit right about now."
I was right. Antoine now has a Youtube channel giving updates on whether they have found the intruder.
http://www.youtube.com/user/antoinedodson24?blend=2&ob=1
Since the video and songs release, Antoine has developed himself into a bit of a celebrity.

So whats my point with all of this? NOTHING! I just wanted to share how ANYONE can have their 15 minutes of fame from unlikely situations.
So Weird!

First Blog Post Ever!
Hello everyone. This is my first blog post and I think I like it. I would start off by telling you a bit about myself, but that would be a waste of time. I will however, tell you about what you will be expecting. On my facebook page I like to post videos and share them with my friends and make commentary. Sometimes I do stupid things like shave a little too much hair off the back of my neck and post pictures of it on my page. So Videos and Stupid pictures of things I didn't think through will be the main focus. Also, I love to share music videos which is what I will be doing as well.
I hope everyone enjoys!
